Kripalu Yoga
Allows a meditative approach to the postures to bring body and mind into stillness. A free form

Open Vinyasa
Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word that describes a dynamic, flowing form of hatha yoga.   Each asana
(pose) is linked together with the breath to form a continuous flow.    Our vinyasa classes offer
breath awareness and practices, Sun Salutations, standing postures, forward bending, back
bending, balancing poses, twisting and inversions to create a sense of balance and inner
calm.   Each student is encouraged to work at their own pace and find that their postures and
practice is comfortable, steady and joyous!    Vinyasa classes at Dhanwantari are set to an
inspiring playlist with everything from the Beatles, Sting, Krishna Das and the beloved, Mike
Cohen.

Pre & Post Natal Yoga

A 6 week class series designed just for Moms-to-be to prepare body and mind for pregnancy
and birth. New mothers can also enjoy the relaxation and the benefits of movement as they
restore after birth. Babies are welcome! ;)   $72    Begins Sept 13th.

Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra
Relax, Restore, Rejuvenate!  This class is all about unwinding and letting GO!   Rest in passive
yoga postures supported on props and conclude the practice with a deep, final relaxation
practice, called Yoga Nidra.

StoryTime Yoga TM 
This yoga practice is designed  especially for a child’s natural receptivity to play, movement and 
story.  In StoryTime Yoga, children become storytellers as they learn about their bodies, feelings
and relationships through yoga to develop  self confidence, self resilience, and a vivid and
creative imagination!   Each class includes multi-cultural wisdom tales that are acted out
through yoga poses and ends with a “Story Siesta” of a deeply relaxing yoga nidra that is just 
right for kids!      Ages 3-5, $50  (8 weeks) and K-4, $80 (8 weeks).

Celebrate your inner radiance with Surya Namaskar! A specific sequence of 12 postures to
provide an overall sense of well being is the core of this class.

Yoga for Athletes
This class specifically address the needs of athletes:  strength, endurance, flexibility and focus.   
Steve Krojo is the preferred yoga instructor for many of ND’s athletic teams and is now bringing
this approach to Dhanwantari.  Drop in.  No registration required.   

Yoga for Women 50+
Midlife women, experience the benefits of a gentle yet powerful yoga practice for your body, mind,
and soul.   Using techniques such as yoga postures, soft movement, breathing exercises, and
meditation you will  strengthen bone health, balance your journey through menopause and post-
menopause, as well as develop deep relaxation, emotional balance and
self confidence.  Whether you are new to yoga or restarting  your practice this class is perfectly
suited for your stage  of life.  Gain a new appreciation for the "afternoon"  years of your life...they
have a value and purpose all  their own.  Come share the adventure with a community
